BHMS or Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery  is an undergraduate academic degree course which covers medical knowledge of the homeopathic system. BHMS course is of 5½ year duration which includes an internship. The course can be pursued after completion of 10+2 level of education with 50% marks in aggregate. Admission to the program is based on entrance exams like NEET, KEAM etc. The average BHMS course fee ranges between INR 2 to 3 lacs.

After completing the course, candidates candidates have a lot of career options and can jobs under various profiles such as Lecturer, Scientist, Doctor, Therapist to name a few. The average salary package offered to these employees ranges between INR 3.5 to 5 Lacs.

BHMS Eligibility Criteria

– An aggregate score 50% at 10+2 level
– Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the compulsory subjects.
